GSL-1200X-50B is a high-pressure tube furnace up to 1200oC @ 90 bars. The furnace consists of three-zone internal heating inside an SS310 air-tight chamber, which can accept various gases from inert to oxygen, such as Ar, N2, H2, Co, CO2, CH4, and O2.
The slideable explosion-proof case is built-in the outside heating vessel and the remote control is available via laptop computer

  • 5000W Max ( 30A breaker required)
  • A 10-foot power cable is included without a plug
Vacuum chamber
  • The vacuum chamber is made of 310S alloy with water cooling jacket
  • Chamber size: OD 220x ID 170 x L 1200 (mm) 
  • Water cold flanges in the two ends are made of SS304 and are slidable
  • KF40 vacuum port, gas inlet, and outlet, as well as valves, are included
  • Sliding protection case is included
  • 95 bar gas release valve is built in for safety
  • 12- 9 channel gas delivery system is available upon request ( click Pic 1 to order)
  • 16L/minute recirculating water chiller is required (Click Pic 2 to order

Heating Chamber
  • Three-zone heating chambers are located inside a vacuum chamber.
  • Heating zone: OD120 x ID 50 x L340x3 (mm) Total heating length: 1020 mm
  • Uniform temperature zone: ~ 450oC +/- 2oC
  • One quartz tube (OD60 x ID50 mm) is inserted into the heating 
  • Heating element: FeCrAl resistance wire with YSZ coating
  • Max. working temperature: 1200ºC
  • Gas compatible: Inert gas, H2, CO, CH4 and O2
Temperature Control
  • 3 digital temperature controllers certified by MET and CE Certified
  • PID automatic control with 30 programmable segments for control of heating & cooling rate and dwell time.
  • Built-in overheating & broken thermocouple protection.
  • Over-temperature protection and alarm allow for operation without attendant(s).
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
  • RS485 Communications Port and software are included for PC remote operation
Gas control (optional)
  • Gas pressure and flow rate control is available upon request 
Flammable Gas protection (optional)

  • When using flammable gases in the tube furnace, one must install a flammable gas leak detector and cut off the gas supply in case of a gas leak (Pic. 1)
  • Flammable gas shall be burned via an automatic burning device (Pic. 2)
  • Without MTI training and permission, never use the furnace for flammable gases
